On July 31, 2012, I had a robotic radical prostatectomy at your hospital performed by Stuart Holden, M.D., and David Josephson, M.D., who have been exceptional both professionally and personally to my wife and me. Dr. Holden has been my treating urologist for several years and I have always been impressed with the care I have received at Tower Urology; all staff included. When I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, I was obviously concerned, but at the same time comforted to know I was with competent and caring professionals, in whom I should place my trust. I’m so thankful that I did.
My stay at Cedars-Sinai was equally impressive, beginning with a call two weeks prior to admission from Lidia Toledo, RN, MSN, of your Patient/Community Relations Department. You could not have a better “face” to the community …wholly competent, compassionate and helpful. Thereafter, the nurses and staff (too numerous to remember by name) during my stay at Room 8 (Southwest), made an otherwise miserable episode in my life tolerable and in reality, pleasant. My hope is that you can let all of those wonderful people who cared for me know that my wife and I thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you doctors Holden and Josephson for treating me so well, not only as a patient, but as a friend. Thanks to them, your incredible staff and you, I have every confidence that I will have many quality years with my beautiful family, friends and partners.
I have nothing but praise for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, their nurses, social workers, radiologists, emergency in-take and cleaning staff. You name it, Cedars-Sinai is the best! Thank you and best wishes to all of you!
