For more than fifty years, Tower Urology has been widely recognized for providing comprehensive and exceptional Urological care. We will continue to extend these services during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Our office is following best practice guidelines for infection control, hygiene and healthcare worker safety. Extra precautions to will be enforced to ensure patient and staff safety by limiting patient volume and practicing physical distancing.
Office hours have been modified and staggered so that two physicians will be available to see patients during each session. Appointments will be scheduled at 30 minute intervals in order to minimize waiting room occupancy . Weather permitting, patients may decide to wait outdoors for their appointments.
Examination room doors will remain open so that there will be limited touching of doors and handles.
All exposed surfaces in our office including countertops, examination tables and medical equipment will be cleaned and disinfected with medical grade disinfectant.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistent with CDC Guidelines will be worn by all medical staff.
At the recommendation of the CDC we will be asking patients screening questions prior to allowing them to enter our reception area. Please consider all these questions prior to making an appointment or coming to the office:
. Have you traveled to a high risk COVID-19 area within 14 days of your appointment.
. Have you had close contact with any patient that is currently diagnosed with COVID-19.
. Do you have any fever, loss of taste/smell, cough or respiratory symptoms.
If you have answered yes to any of the above, please do not make an appointment to be seen in our office.
Tower Urology is now offering Telemedicine appointments. The Federal Government and various health service agencies have accepted this new form of virtual visit and have encouraged it as an additional layer of social distancing. These visits may be arranged instead of physical visits and if additional testing requires your presence, appropriate arrangements will be made.
Urgent/emergency visits and ongoing cancer treatments that cannot be delayed will continue to be accommodated.
Please do not hesitate to contact your physician. Administrative Assistants and Medical Assistants will frequently access their voice mails and forward messages to their designated doctors. To arrange for a video conference or to make an appointment, please call our office at (310) 854-9898.
We understand that this is a trying and difficult time for all of us. Thank you for your continued trust and loyalty as we work to fight this virus together.
